ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is an internationally recognised Certificate, which validates the candidates competence in computer skills. The course is divided into seven modules, six practical and one theoretical. These include Basic Concepts of I.T., File Management, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database, Presentation, Information and Communication. An on-line examination in each module must be passed before the ECDL is awarded. This course is suitable for individuals who are familiar with the basic operation of a Personal Computer or have recently completed a foundation course in computers. The class runs Monday and Tuesday evenings for 10 weeks. Candidates must have their own laptop with Office 2007 application.
